Stephanie Ann Dunn, 50, passed away June 17, in Norman after a long illness.
She was born April 15, 1955, in Norman to Charles L. and Ann Coleman.
She lived in Oklahoma and Texas during her lifetime. Most of her schooling was in Richardson, Texas, where she graduated from JJ Pearce High School. She was head cheerleader, track sweetheart and voted into the Who's Who of outstanding teenagers of America. Stephanie attended the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.
Her wit, enthusiasm, and athletic ability took her to opening her own business as a successful Allstate insurance agent. She ran her business until her illness finally slowed her down. Stephanie was not one to go unnoticed and all who knew and worked with her will not forget the lift they felt when she walked in a room with her beautiful bright smile. If her voice was hoarse when she spoke, it was because she had been cheering her son on at his basketball games or whooping it up over Michael Jordan's latest slam dunk!
She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved her church callings of teaching women young and old. She was an avid reader of mysteries and loved traveling with her three sisters. Family was her greatest love.
Preceding her in death are two infant daughters, Kendall and Tally; her grandparents, Tom and Frances Coleman,of Norman, and Oscar and Aline Burrow, of Oklahoma City.
Survivors include her son, Ashur T. Dunn; her parents, Charles and Ann Coleman; and three sisters, Lisa Schlueter, Laura Matheson and Lynda Coleman.
Stephanie, your love of Popeye Spinach may have made you stronger, but we were hoping for a miracle. We love you. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/11197694/stephanie-ann-dunn
